The Ontario Online Learning Consortium (“eCampusOntario”) is committed to protecting the privacy of your Personal Information. This page sets out our Privacy Policy and describes why and how we collect, use and disclose personal information which you choose to provide to us on our website and portal (collectively, this “Website”).

Personal Information. “Personal Information” means any information that can specifically identify an individual, including their name, address, and telephone number, email address, age, gender, marital status, personal views, preferences and opinions. Where we collect Personal Information from you, it is limited to the minimum we require for any service or activity conducted with you, and to contact you with any communications you consent to receive.

Consent. By using this Website, you must agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy. Whenever you submit Personal Information to or via this Website, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of that Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Collection of Information. eCampusOntario only collects Personal Information that is voluntarily provided by a person in connection with their use of this Website and other services of eCampusOntario which requires such Personal Information.

This Website uses common, automatic data collection tools, such as cookies, embedded web links and web beacons. These tools collect standard information that the user’s browser sends to eCampusOntario through your use of this Website, such as the user’s browser type or the address of this Website from which they arrived. The tools may also collect information about the user’s Internet Protocol (IP) address (a number automatically assigned to a computer whenever it is navigating the web, allowing web servers to locate and identify their computer) and user behaviors, such as the pages they view and the links they click.

Open Rangers

The Open Rangers form a network of Ontario post-secondary educators and practitioners interested in supporting the advancement of open education within their institution. Open Rangers have virtual meet-ups year round and have the chance to attend the Open Education Ontario Summit, an annual event that brings both new and seasoned Rangers together to provide a safe space for brainstorming future directions for advancement in open education.
