eCampusOntario is presenting a series of workshops highlighting Open Educational content as part of Open Education Week run by OE Global. An annual celebration, Open Education Week (OE Week) is an opportunity for actively sharing and learning about the latest achievements in Open Education worldwide. OE Week takes place March 6-10.

Leadership for Digital Transformation (Dx) in Higher Education
This webcast will feature eCampusOntario’s newly developed Leadership for Digital Transformation (Dx) in Higher Education training program. Leaders play an important role in promoting a culture of innovation by influencing strategic direction, dedicating resources, and fostering open communication that creates the conditions under which the ongoing process of Dx can occur. Join us as we discuss the five overarching Dx leadership competencies that inform this innovative program and find out how you can participate.

Work-Integrated Learning Framework: Employability Skills and Micro-credentials
eCampusOntario proposes an OER that provides a framework which helps educators and employers systemize work-integrated learning (WIL) experiences through the chart of employability skills provided by the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) to identify competencies for microcredentialing . This OER will first provide context on the Consortium de l’apprentissage expérientiel francophone de l’Ontario (CAPFO); secondly, a distinction between experiential learning and work-integrated learning will be provided, and finally, the employability skills chart specified by the AUF will be included to provide a lens through which educators may systemize WIL experiences. Participants will also discover the micro-credential principles and framework at the end of this OER.
