The Indigenous, historical significance of the lands encompassing the district of Greater Sudbury

This project will be the creation of an open textbook with a two-fold aim: First, through the medicine wheel model, students will learn to identify and recognize the Indigenous, historical significance of the lands encompassing Greater Sudbury. Second, through the use of interactive mapping strategies, the textbook itself will provide educators with a guidebook on how to document Indigenous stories in their own areas.
