Application for OEX Support for Recent Graduates Pathway

Opportunity

eCampusOntario is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from member institutions for support through Ontario Exchange (OEX). The OEX Funded Support pathway is designed for institutions who have the ability to produce virtual learning materials but lack capacity in a key production role. Serving as a ‘matchmaker’ that connects institutions with professionals and companies that have expertise, Ontario Exchange addresses gaps in the production of virtual learning materials. Applications will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

Funded Support for Recent Grads

Successful applications through this track will be matched with qualified recent graduates from post-secondary programs in instructional design, learning experience design and other programs relevant to developing virtual learning materials. Ontario Exchange will provide funding to cover the project costs associated with hiring of a recent graduate.
As an added feature, this year, we’ve dedicated a portion of our funding to enable recent graduates (defined as those who have graduated up to 24 months prior to the application closing date) with any of the aforementioned skills to apply to be OEX service providers. Through this funding, they will have the opportunity to build their portfolios and develop client networks as they start their career journeys.

What Expenses are Eligible for Funding?

Support is provided in the form of access to professional service providers of instructional designers, multi-media development, copy editors and additional supports related to the production of virtual learning materials. Professional service providers contracted through Ontario Exchange will be paid by eCampusOntario for all eligible services provided to and approved by the institution. Examples of supplier services eligible for OEX support can be found here. Due to the open nature of this EOI there may be expenditure types not listed in these examples that may be considered.
