French Language OER Sprint – Online teaching support resources
Opportunity
eCampusOntario is seeking applications from qualified professionals to participate in Open Education Resource (OER) creation sprints, focused on creating support resources for educators teaching in French in a hybrid or online environment. The September 27-28 Sprint will focus on pedagogical approaches to online and hybrid teaching and learning, learner engagement in digital settings, and various digital support methodologies. There are multiple positions available.
The October 11-12 Sprint will focus on supporting students in online teaching settings, online learning support, student mental health support, evaluation methods in online context. There are multiple positions available. The Sprint participant will work with other participants and a team of advisors to create OER. All OER created will be made freely available through a Creative Commons license for adoption and customization and catalogued in the eCampusOntario Open Library.
French language proficiency is required.
Participants will receive a renumeration of $1,200 CAD
Subject matter experts not affiliated with a post-secondary institution and graduate students are encouraged to apply. Applicants from outside of Ontario are also welcomed to apply.
