eCampusOntario’s Bento Box Series

eCampusOntario presents:

The Bento Box Series – 30 minutes of lunchtime conversation on open and technology-enabled teaching and learning in Ontario

Beginning in September 2017 and running throughout the academic year, the eCampusOntario team will host a series of lunchtime webinars with an exciting lineup of Ontario guests. Topics will include open textbooks, innovation in online course design and delivery, ed-tech tools, experiential learning, student experiences, and emerging teaching and learning topics.

All sessions will be aired using our eCampusOntario Zoom Channel and will be scheduled from 12:15 to 12:45pm. Sessions will be recorded and posted on our eCampusOntario website within one week of the date aired.

Open Education Week – Intro to Pressbooks with Peggy French: In this “Seven-layer Dip” your toe in session, Peggy will review the basics for using Pressbooks to adapt or create open resources. Wednesday, March 7, 12:15pm – 12:45pm

Labster Virtual Lab Simulations in Ontario with special guest Sam Butcher: Joanne Kehoe and Sam Butcher of Labster will talk about the Ontario experience of educators and learners using virtual labs as part of their courses. Wednesday, March 28, 12:15 to 12:45.
